Evolutionary Astrology

Evolutionary astrology takes the standpoint that a person’s soul is eternal and only the body dies. The soul is reincarnated in new bodies as the soul evolves through different lives and experiences.

The name evolutionary astrology was 1st coined by Ray Merriman in a book by that title published in 1977.  Ray has since become a specialist in financial astrology and has his own school.

Jeffrey Green & Steven Forrest put evolutionary astrology on the map.  They initially worked together and co-authored a couple books based on the lectures they did together; Measuring the night Vol 1 & 2.

Jeffrey started his own school in 1994, the Pluto school of evolutionary astrology.  He always saw Pluto as representing the soul.  His daughter has since taken over the school and renamed it the Jeffrey Wolf Green School of evolutionary astrology.

In 1998 Steven Forrest started his Apprenticeship Program.  It was basically a group that would meet once or twice a year for 4 days and extensively talk about a specific topic, by 2019 he had many AP groups going; 3 in the US and 3 in other countries.  In 2020 he turned it into a formal online school; Forrest Center for Evolutionary Astrology.  Steven always saw the Moon as being more representative of the soul & Pluto relating more to the soul’s wound.  For both Steven & Jeffrey the Nodes are of major importance and represent the soul’s experiential path from past lives and moving forwards into the future.

I’ve met Jeff Green and attended a couple of his past lectures at conferences.  He is very psychic and channels a lot of the information.  He’ll tell you things there’s no way anyone would get from a chart, like telling someone to contact a long lost relative by name in a specific town in the US.

Steven Forrest is an amazing storyteller.  He uses stories to get to the heart of a matter and convey information.  He teaches through helping you feel the energy of a situation to gain better understanding.  He’s written a lot of wonderful books.  If you’re interested in modern astrology I recommend any of his books.
